Hemp Cultivation in New Hampshire?

A major effort is underway to push hemp legislation through various state governments.

House Bill 239 (Owen, Robb-Theroux, Messier, Leishman, Babson)

Permits the development of a licensed, regulated industrial hemp industry in New Hampshire.

The House is scheduled to vote on this measure on March 18, 1999.   A similar effort introduced last year failed to pass the House by only a handful of votes.   Please call your state representative immediately and urge his/her support for this bill.
