This picture appeared in a traditional financial Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf” (i.e. similar to “Wall Street Journal”) on September 8, 1997. Is this the financial nightmare Du Pont, Eli Lilly et. al. have been trying to avoid at all cost in the United States for over 60 years? Home Grow Shop is telling and showing how to grow your own AIDS, glaucoma, epilepsy, cancer, chemotherapy and Multiple Sclerose medicine.

The above picture shows that this is a regular event on the streets in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Yet, in many other countries the attitude of enforced ignorance prevails. Except in Arizona and California in the United States where voters spoke out in favor of Medical Marijuana. This democratic decision was overruled by President Clinton through abuse of his Federal powers. What is next? What happened to democracy and freedom of information?
